About us
Down to Earth Dining is my
brainchild, created five years ago when I decided to change career
direction. It took me a long time to work out I wasn’t suited to a
desk job, even though I had been helping people with their own
career planning for years, in my roles as corporate psychologist,
HR Manager and corporate trainer.
I went back to my first love - cooking for others - and trained as
a chef and caterer. I still use my corporate skills to teach now
and again at TAFE, and also enjoy cooking with kids. They have
such fun creating with “Manda” and we all enjoy eating and
learning together.

Part of the ‘down to earth’
process is selecting fresh produce from the markets. I visit
Flemington markets to choose your ingredients for you. My
philosophy is to source locally grown food, first from the
Hawkesbury basin, then wider into NSW, then interstate if we need.
I also provide organic food on request and know this market very
well. I will introduce to you to our suppliers on our ‘ask the
chef’ page from time to time.
I would love to create fresh and delicious food for you in my
commercial kitchen or on-site at your office, venue or home. The
only thing you need to do is to relax, enjoy yourself and impress
your guests.
